Berachah Exclusive Press Release
Berachah Fellowship Church in Albany, GA is raising the bar for philanthropy by providing items to the city's impoverished families. Because of the rising cost of goods everywhere, churches are resolved not just to preach giving but also to act by distributing household goods and furniture to the poor every week.
In fulfillment of Matthew 20:45, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Berachah is said to have had a significant impact on the people of Albany and its surrounding areas because their charitable acts provide relief and encouragement to the community's less fortunate members.
Citizens of Dougherty County receive new products such as clothing, school supplies, cleaning supplies, home decorating, living room, bedroom, kitchen furniture, and small and large appliances with no income level or paperwork required and at no cost. The church affirms that its mission is to help those who cannot help themselves.
A Christlike gesture that hasn’t gone unrecognized, as Albany residents describe or label the church as one of the best in the city. Notably, the church is under no compulsion or obligation to donate but works under the instruction of the church's head, Jesus. Referencing the statement found in Acts 20:35, which asserts that there is greater joy in giving than in receiving, giving is said to bring happiness to the church and its members.
