PASTOR RONALD F. SMITH
EARLY LIFE & CAREER
Pastor Ronald F. Smith is a native of Albany, Georgia. He is the son of the late Lesley and Helen Smith Sr. The youngest of four children. He received his education in the Dougherty County School System and graduated in the year of 1979 from the Westover High School.
After graduating he served four years in the United States Army 525th Military Intelligence Group as an Electronic Engineer in Fort Bragg, N.C. While enlisted he received many prestigious awards and was honorable discharged in September 1983.
His previous employment includes the Albany Fire Department, Marine Corps Logistic Base, Fox 31 TV, and Procter & Gamble Paper Products Company.
CALLING TO MINISTRY
In March 1986, he accepted his call in ministry and has pastured several churches in Southwest Georgia.
In January 2003, he received a word from God to birth a new ministry and is the founder and CEO of Berachah Fellowship Church in Albany, Ga. He is a skillfully intelligent preacher and master orator who is both prolific and profound. His ability to minister under an aspiring teacher’s mantle has made him a well sought speaker.
RECOGNITION & PERSONAL LIFE
In recognition of his contributions and spiritual leadership to the community he received the Outstanding Young Man of America Award and Atlanta Partnership, Courage, Collaboration & Leadership Achievement Award.
He has appeared as special guest on the national religious television talk show Rejoice in the Word, hosted by Bishop George Bloomer. He will soon release his first book title “When God Serves Restraining Orders”. He is married to Deirdere Goodman – Smith and they have one child, Joshua.
